back in NY

I'm safely back in NY, and back at work. Time with Dad was good--more later, but among other things, we began distributing Mom's ashes and continued rearranging the entire house.

pirateofcatan's shoulder continues to improve. Check out his posts for semi-frequent updates about range of motion, and how much weight they hang off of his wrist to try to straighten his elbow.
our apartment is significantly more organized since I spent Labor day working on things...
