October! Already? Wait...almost November!?

No, seriously.  I can't believe it's almost November.  In my head, that means it's basically already Christmas.

We've been busy doing stuff, though as always, I wish I got more done every day. 

( Some of the things have not been fun. )

But fortunately, ( some things have been more fun. )

The last couple of days, PoC has been very busy making the basement less stupid.  His sister, her husband, and their daughter (our insta-niece) are coming to visit this weekend.  On the agenda:  the zoo, maybe the science museum, the farmer's market, the fair-trade store, playing games, eating squash soup, making cheesy onion bread and zuchinni bread, and doing a carpentry project with the niece to keep her out of her parents' hair for a while!
