Procrastination

I am supposed to be doing homework. Most of my homework consists of 1) read a bunch of journal articles around a topic 2) loosely string them together in a post of about 800 words 3) paraphrase, don't directly quote, and cite all sources 4) rinse & repeat next week, x 2 classes.

Just in case anyone at home feels like joining in, here are some questions. Citations not required, but if you use an outside source, cite it in APA format!

1) Why don't I like the music of Courtney Barnett & Kurt Weil?
1a) Why didn't I discover The National until, like, now?

2) Do you think our group will win our second attempt at completing March in Pandemic: Legacy?

3) I think it's time to re-read an entire series of books again...which should it be? All the Discworld (Pratchett) books? All the Dresden Files (Butcher) books? All the Earthsea (LeGuin) books? Get started on Game of Thrones (Martin) so maybe I'll be ready whenever book 6 appears? (The same argument could apply to the Dresden books.)

4) Do you think I should ask [friend] which pronoun they prefer? Facebook says "they" but [friend] was introduced (by a reputable source) as "he." [friend] makes no corrections, even when people accidentally say "she." [friend] is also young, like, just out of college young, and a little shy.

5) Do you want some of these green tomatoes? Please come get them! We have so many!

6) Maybe it's the Fall, or the fact that I'm starting my 2nd bachelor's degree, or the fact that every one is wearing flannel again...but why do I feel nostalgic all the time?

Miss you, you few who remain since LJ days! Now, in-depth discussion board responses with properly formatted citations.
