Enough with the mowing!

Two things I don't miss about college:

1) They mow the grass here all the frickin' time! And then they edge it, too!

2) The summer maintenance/cleaning staff starts work at 7am. Before 7, they gather at the picnic table and chat/laugh/smoke loudly. (yes, they smoke loudly.) Now, I'm even awake at 7....and I still don't want to hear it!

It is a pretty little campus, though. And I guess I should be glad we have no flooding here. A bit of rain, but no floods. How's everyone else in the northeast doing?

Philly got pounded pretty bad, but our neighborhood was fine. It even got dry enough to mow yesterday (but not at 7AM...geez).

South of here got pounded really hard (Cortland deep into PA) and the Thruway was closed from DeWitt to Albany for a time.....

On my way out to mow right now (it's been well over a week since the last time)......

It should be a week before you mow. I know you said well over a week, but people who mow several times a week drive me nuts. Especially when they have a extra loud gas mower with no muffler or a muffler tip. Bastard neighbors.
