Does anyone use Twitter?  If so, can you tell me who asynchronicity is?

I'm not really planning to friend them in any case, seeing as I hardly have time to keep up with LJ as it is, but I'd like to know who they might be...  I suspect it could be a recently-departed co-worker (from whom I also received a friend request for another networking site--one I've never even heard of).  If she spends this much time on networking sites, it's little wonder she never seemed to get much done...

Does it creep anyone else out to receive friend requests from people you can't even identify?  I don't know why I can't just let go of it and delete the messages, but I'm always like "who is that?!  How did they get this address?  What else do they know about me?!"  Since I feel the same way about junk (paper) mail and telemarketers (none since the do-not-call list!), I should probably just accept it as a part of modern life...

I believe your suspicions are correct.... I have had the same flurry but I managed to figure out it was her..... And yes, it's probably why she didn't get much done.....
