I've finally succumbed

alright, so I guess I'll start one of these. Maybe I'll even keep it current.

Things I've done today:

Shovelled the front walk.

Shovelled around the car, even though I live 4 blocks from work and wasn't going to start the car. It just seemed like a good idea.

Fixed three worklights, including the one that shot sparks last time we turned it on.

Tried to go to a meeting, but it was cancelled. Got free bagel from other cancelled event.

Discovered that the ceiling is leaking again. Distributed buckets. Called PhysPlant.

Failed to make any money on MTurk.

Moved the pyro supplies from one cabinet to another.

Read email from thomascantor about LJ. Spent some time trying to figure out who some of his friends are, since I went to school with many of them. Decided to start this LJ, even though I don't know how to use it.

Remembered that my boss won't be here on Monday, either, and I really don't have much to do.

Yep....graduated in 2000. Majored in Theatre and English.

I haven't figured out who a bunch of the LJ folks are yet--including you!--but if you know me, you'll probably remember my long blond braid and that my first name is Nancy.

I'm an 01er, I took a bunch of art classes (although I was poli sci), I have an unusual name that I go by (it's my middle name), worked in the costume shop, have really long brown hair. :) I will add you to my friends list, might help since all my posts are f-locked...

Aha! Now I know who you are....

Um, we're not actually married. pirateofcatan refers to me as The Wife (caps necessary) because of a long and hard-to-explain joke from college. We have been together for about 5 and a half years now....basically since I left Billsville. And now we live together, and work at the same place, both of which are wonderful.

I think living together and working together is teh awesome. :) The Muzh and I did that for a bit. It was great!

not at all! We'll probably get around to it eventually!

We work in different departments, so we don't drive each other crazy and yet we know exactly what the other is talking about when we gripe (or discuss) at home!

(speaking of work, I should probably be drafting!)
